West Silvertown (DLR) – around 5–10 minutes' walk
Royal Victoria (DLR) – around 10 minutes' walk
Custom House (Elizabeth line & DLR) – around 15–20 minutes' walk
Canning Town (Jubilee line & DLR) – around 25 minutes' walk
Canning Town is also our nearest 24-hour Tube station.Always check for delays, engineering works and changes to late-night services before travelling.

When leaving, our recommended routes are towards:
Canning Town - around 25 minutes' walk, for the Jubilee line, DLR and onward bus connections.
West Silvertown - around 5 - 10 minutes' walk, for DLR services.Please follow directions from our security and stewarding teams and check live TfL information before leaving.
Please leave the area promptly and quietly. Do not congregate on Dock Road or surrounding streets, and please don't bring speakers or play amplified music in the surrounding area.

Please don't drive to The Cause.
There is NO general customer parking at The Cause or on Dock Road. Please do not travel to the venue expecting to park locally.
We strongly recommend using public transport.
Please do not park, wait or leave vehicles on Dock Road or anywhere that obstructs neighbouring businesses, entrances, access points or surrounding roads.

any form of liquids (including perfumes)

Meta / Ray-Ban smart glasses
Any other smart glasses or wearable devices capable of recording photography, video or audio

glass or metal containers
costume masks
inflatables

flags
balaclavas or any form of face covering
any other item that could pose a risk to safety or disrupt the event.
Prescription medication is only permitted in labelled containers with ID.
We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Prohibited items will be confiscated, and anyone found with them may be refused entry or ejected without refund.
Anything left with security is at your own risk.

We are a strictly 18+ venue and we operate a no physical ID, no entry policy. Accepted forms of ID include a valid passport, driving licence and foreign national ID only.
Expired IDs, digital copies and photos will not be accepted.

Please do not buy from unauthorised street traders outside The Cause, including people selling balloons and other items on Dock Road.
These traders are not associated with or authorised by The Cause.
We have experienced incidents of theft in the surrounding area, including mobile phone theft, so please stay vigilant, look after each other and keep your belongings secure when leaving the venue.
Unauthorised street trading can also encourage crowds to congregate on Dock Road, creating noise, litter, obstruction and other public nuisance. This causes significant problems for our neighbours and local businesses and can ultimately put The Cause's premises licence at risk.
Please don't support unauthorised street traders.
Leave the area promptly and quietly, look after yourselves and each other and help us protect The Cause.

We don’t check names on tickets to IDs so it’s not a problem if the names don’t match up. You just need a valid ticket to enter.

All guests must present a valid ticket and pass through security.
If you have purchased a timed ticket (before 3PM, before 5PM etc.), you must arrive before then otherwise you will be subject to a late top-up fee dependent on the time of your arrival.
Bag and body searches are required for entry. Refusal to be searched will result in denied entry without refund. Once inside, there is no re-entry.

No. We operate a strict no re-entry policy. Food, rest areas and facilities are available on-site to meet your needs throughout the night.

We're a fully cashless venue. Please bring a card or contactless payment method.

We don’t have a set dress code but please note, some toilets, food traders and bars are located outside.

Yes. Our cloakroom charges £3 per item (coats and bags). Lockers are also available to pre-book HERE.

The majority of the venue is accessible. However, two of our rooms are located on the first floor, and we currently do not have a working lift.
All of our outside space, as well as the Warehouse, Brut and Hothouse are accessible by wheelchair.
We also have a separate disabled toilet.
Unfortunately, the Gallery and the Loft are both 1st and 2nd floor rooms and are only accessible via stairs.

We have a very limited number of accessible parking spaces for Blue Badge holders.
These must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.
Please email info@supportthecause.co.uk with your Blue Badge, number plate and car model to request a space.
Accessible parking is strictly limited and does not mean that general customer parking is available.

We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy on drugs. All guests are subject to searches. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be removed and may face further action. We may also pass your details to authorities if necessary.

We don’t allow bags or rucksacks on site that are bigger than an A4. If you bring a bag or rucksack larger than this to site you will not be permitted entry onto site with it. We have lockers on site that are available at a cost for smaller items and for storing personal items of clothing (coats, jackets).

No outside food or drink is allowed. We have food vendors inside offering vegan and veggie options, and free tap water at all bars.

Yes, but only if it’s empty on arrival. Reusable and plastic bottles are fine.

Yes, self-serve water stations are available at every bar.

To reduce waste, we’ve introduced a reusable cup system. You’ll pay a one-time £1.50 charge when you buy your first drink. If you bring your cup back when ordering another drink, you will not be charged again.

We have a dedicated Welfare and Medical area on site. Please let a member of staff know you feel unwell and they can direct you to the Welfare and Medical area.
Regardless of the reason you feel unwell, our staff are trained to be non-judgemental with your well being placed with the utmost importance.

Yes, but it must be in its original packaging. Any medication kept loose or in a pill box will not be accepted in the venue.

Smoking and vaping are only allowed in outdoor areas. Doing so indoors may result in removal from the venue without a refund.
We sell vapes on-site in the cloakroom.
